New Song! "Let's Get Bloody"

This week's new song, "Let's Get Bloody," serves multiple purposes. It's an entry for next week's Songfight. It's my fifth weekly song of 2010. It's also the first song of my February Album Writing Month project.

I had to wrestle pretty hard with my software to get this finished, hence the lateness, so sorry about that. Have a listen and let me know what you think!

New Song - "Waiting for the Other Shoe to Drop"

Remember back in February 2009, when I recorded my album 14 Stories for February Album Writing Month? Well, only half of it got recorded, but they all got written, so technically I won.

Anyways. I just recorded a new, fully-realized version of "Waiting for the Other Shoe to Drop," from that album. It's song #2 toward my Song a Week in 2010 project. You can hear it here, and I do hope you enjoy it. See you next week!

More FAWM

Eight of February's 28 days have passed, and I've got six demos to show for it.

New this evening are:
A cute ballad called "Take it from a Liar"
The emerging album's title track and probable closer, "14 Stories"
And a Mountain Goats-y song about college, called "Waiting for the Other Shoe to Drop."

The Demos are Coming!

For those who didn't know, February is Album Writing Month. Last year, I tried participating, and wound up with two completed songs, only one of which made it online. This year, things seem to be going better, as I've already got three demos recorded and posted, and lyrics for five others, which I plan on recording tomorrow evening.
